The Proposal Development Assistant will provide support to the Proposal Resource Center team and the Communication Office. Our team helps Program staff through the proposal process and the Corporate Communications Office provides internal and external communications. They will edit proposal materials and help to keep the Proposal Library up to date. They will also provide support to the new technology recently introduced to Us: the Proposal Collaborative Workspace, a web-based proposal management system which allows staff to consolidate their proposal materials and processes on an internal web site. In addition, they will provide support for training activities. The individual will also write and edit news releases and stories for newsletters as well as maintain the content on Our external web site. The Center will provide an environmental academic interest residence and sustainable dining alternative for students and will serve as a "hub" for the Environmental Studies academic program. It will provide an educational service for the College and Community through its design and programming, which will extend throughout the entire year. Its design will also develop connections between the built and natural environment, enhanced by opportunities for faculty and student research. Designed to provide faculty and staff with information about developing and preparing grant proposals.
